വാഷിംങ്ടണ്‍: യുഎസ് സര്‍ക്കാരുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട രാഷ്ട്രീയ ചുമതലകള്‍ ഒഴിവാക്കി വീണ്ടും വ്യവസായത്തില്‍ ശ്രദ്ധ കേന്ദ്രീകരിക്കാന്‍ ശതകോടീശ്വരന്‍ ഇലോണ്‍ മസ്ക് തയാറെടുക്കുന്നു. നിലവില്‍ യു.എസ് സര്‍ക്കാറിന്‍റെ കാര്യക്ഷമതാ വകുപ്പ് അധ്യക്ഷനാണ് അദ്ദേഹം. ഈ സ്ഥാനത്തിരുന്ന നിരവധി വിവാദങ്ങള്‍ക്കും അദ്ദേഹം തിരി കൊളുത്തിയിരുന്നു.

ഇതിനിടെ ടെസ്ള ഇലക്ട്രിക് കാര്‍ വ്യവസായം വന്‍ തിരിച്ചടിയും നേരിടുകയാണ്. 2025 സാമ്പത്തിക വര്‍ഷത്തെ ആദ്യ പാദത്തിലെ വരുമാനത്തില്‍ വാഹന വിതരണത്തിലെ ആദ്യത്തെ വാര്‍ഷിക ഇടിവ് "ടെസ്ല' റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട് ചെയ്തു. അതോടൊപ്പം വരുമാനത്തിലും അറ്റാദായത്തിലും കുത്തനെ ഇടിവ് സംഭവിച്ചു. മസ്കിന്‍റെ ശ്രദ്ധയെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള നിക്ഷേപകരുടെ ആശങ്കകള്‍ ഈ വര്‍ഷമാദ്യം ഉച്ചസ്ഥായിയിലെത്തി. "ബൈഡ്' പോലുള്ള ചൈനീസ് ഇലക്രോണിക് വാഹന കമ്പനികള്‍ വലിയ തോതില്‍ വില്‍പന വര്‍ധിപ്പിച്ചപ്പോള്‍ പ്രധാന ആഗോള വിപണികളില്‍ വിപണി വിഹിതം സംരക്ഷിക്കാന്‍ ടെസ്ല സമ്മര്‍ദ്ദം നേരിട്ടു.

ഇനി ടെസ്ല, സ്പേസ് എക്സ്, എക്സ് എ.ഐ എന്നിവയില്‍ കൂടുതല്‍ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കാനാണ് മസ്കിന്റെ തീരുമാനം. മസ്കിന്റെ സോഷ്യല്‍ മീഡിയ പ്ളാറ്റ്ഫോമായ "എക്സ്' ശനിയാഴ്ച വലിയൊരു സാങ്കേതിക തകരാര്‍ നേരിട്ടിരുന്നു. ഇത് യു.എസിലെ പതിനായിരക്കണക്കിന് ഉപയോക്താക്കളെ ബാധിച്ചു. താമസിയാതെ മസ്ക് തന്‍റെ മുന്‍ഗണനകളില്‍ മാറ്റത്തിന് സൂചന നല്‍കി രംഗത്തുവന്നു. സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ വകുപ്പില്‍ തന്‍റെ സമയം ആഴ്ചയില്‍ ഒന്നോ രണ്ടോ ദിവസമായി കുറച്ചതായി മസ്ക് നേരത്തെ തന്നെ പറഞ്ഞിരുന്നു. എന്നാല്‍, പ്രസിഡന്‍റ് ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നിടത്തോളം കാലം താന്‍ അവിടെ തുടരുമെന്നും പറയുകയുണ്ടായി. അതിനു പിന്നാലെയാണ് പൂര്‍ണമായി വിട്ടുനില്‍ക്കാനുള്ള തീരുമാനം.
